The Hurricane Ivan Bar is a special edition, historical Grenada Chocolate Bar. It is the chocolate that was just finishing being made and still in our conch machine at the time that hurricane Ivan hit us and broke everything down in Grenada for months. The author personally carried this batch of untempered and unwrapped bulk chocolate to London because we could not store it in Grenada at the time. Fitting with the name, this batch is very strong because its processing was cut a bit short by the hurricane. Now after months of flavour improving aging, the "hurricane Ivan batch" has been blended and re-molded into beautiful Hurricane Ivan Bars by Rococo Chocolates in London to raise money for Heart's and Hand's of Grenada, a local organization woking on hurricane Ivan relief in Grenada by distributing clothing and other goods as well as re-building peoples' homes. All profits from the Hurricane Ivan Bar sales will be donated to Hearts and Hands of Grenada.
